Brushy Peak loopDay before Thanksgiving half day hike - only 2.5 miles to summit so did a full loop around the park to give me 7 miles. Lots of mud sticking to boots was the only downside. TR is HERE

From Vasco RdDidn't realize this was public lands when we visited by moonlight. Went in the scenic way through the landfill not realizing it was a landfill until the aroma gave it away. Trip report.

Full MoonThough the summit is off limits except to guided tours, it looks easy enough to do during the daytime. Still with a nice full moon and being close to home I couldn't pass up the scofflaw experience. The cows kept me on my toes... I felt like I was being stalked by 600 pound animals!
Beautiful place to visit during the day in the rainy season too.
