"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

TNABMade some 'interesting' route choices tonight... especially for descent. But aside from some pretty bad brush, severe bugs, and a rocky gully route up, the summit was spectacular and well worth at least 1 visit... but maybe not another.

North Face in WinterMeant to climb Chair Peak, was following my partner who it turns out has a lousy sense of direction. On the summit he was stratching his head saying there should have been one more pitch while I was admiring the handsome looking peak next door (I was looking at Chair Peak). I should go back and do it again.

Sunmmit!Led this as a Mountaineers scramble. The very last bit is short but fun. Mid week is a good time to go up here unless you enjoy big crowds.
