"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

Burning Daylight- 170’-5.10b***/This is my style of route, but how it gets the same recommendation for the average climber (in the local guide) like Belle gets is beyond me. Burning Daylight is the headier lead of the two. This route was quite dirty and full of grass, seepage and loose blocks as of 2019. Climb the left facing corner on the left side of the Belle Fourche Buttress through triple roofs. Each roof gets easier and the first is the crux. Thoughtful stemming and micro gear, off-set wires and/or cams, are the ticket. The 2nd roof involves good fingers and the final one is getting into hands and stemming to the right wall of the corner. End at the shared fixed rap ledge. Single to #4. Double to #1. Extra set of off set cams or wires. Dow
