Second ascent of the day. 90 degrees, 85% humidity; felt like a sauna. The highest point of Chimney Rocks isn't the obvious one, it appears to be towards the southeast. Stand on them all if you're not sure. Descent was quick and easy.

Wonderful Stroll
Started at the Old Forge picnic area and climbed up via the AT. Crossed to the blue-blazed trail via a pipeline and descended that trail past Hermitage Cabin. Chimney Rocks and the foot bridge over the stream next to Hermitage Cabin are two great places to take a break.

Fun SummitI've climbed it many times, sometimes combining it with Snowy Mountain, sometimes approaching it by way of Monument Rock.
