"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Drive up ClimbWe planned on climbing via the Rim of the Gap trail, but we got a bit confused. We ended up starting at Caesar's Head hiked halfway down (due to time) and then hiked back up. The trail was really challenging, but enjoyable.

Always a FavoriteThis park makes a great stop on a drive through the blue ridge parkway. The views are great and on a clear day you can spot downtown Greenville, also a great view of the resevoir and Table Rock.

Route Climbed: drive up Date Climbed: Many times, latest 07/26/04I wanted to climb via the Rim of the Gap Trail from Jones Gap State Park. However, as related in the page information, that trail is currently closed. And I didn't have time to try another route. So I had to make do with a drive up.
