"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Great for a Day OutingPleasantly surprised with this little monument. Interesting fossil display and the quarry trail was a fun little jaunt.

Winter RunDrove up on a blue-winter day. The whole place was covered with snow which chopped the crowds out but made hiking a little more sporty. The Road to Cundick Ridge is closed all winter so I had to settle for Quarry Trail. Declined to attempt Fossil Butte due to my steep-snow-covered-scree allergy. Empty park, pretty day, great time.
