"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Short and beautifulEasy stroll up from Red Rock Rd on a beautiful spring day. We saw more than 12 types of flowers, 1 bald eagle and 10 pronghorns.
Trail/route is easy to follow.

Sunny Afternoon HikeNice little Friday afternoon hike after work. Early spring sunshine. Parked in a clearing off of Red Rock Road. The entire area suffered a wildfire last year, so it was all bare. Climbed via the northside loop, up through the wash to the rocky summit. Descent via the jeep road.

Very snowy terrainHiked two days after a winter storm. It was a Christmas Day workout, but it was made harder by the steep snow making it hard to see the road at points. Without snow, this would be a piece of cake.
