Up the direct route and down the ridge. Lots of blowdowns and lots of talus!

Front Porch No. 1
This is the first of several peaks visible from my front porch. A really fun scramble.
I did take the SW route up, and took the "alternate" route back down. SW route is tedious, but some really fun spots as well.

Hoodoo
Nice rocky scramble

I kinda like this one more than I thought I would. This is a mountain you don't really have to think on. The route just happens and you get to the summit. If you mess up the route, no big deal. It just works. There was a burn scar section with a ton of blow downs. Walking through that section was like walking on moon dust (or at least I imagine that is what it feels like). There are quite a few water sources along the way so filtering is easy. I always love the solitude you get in the Chelan-Sawtooth area. Just chill climbers and no flip flops. Speaking of footwear, first summit of the year in trail runners!

1st Bulger
Climbed this with a friend of mine after camping at Libby Lake, and climbing around (but not summitting) Raven Ridge. Great views and a great confidence booster for people without much scrambling experience.

Weekend Warmup
It was a nice relaxing trip before my Peru adventure.

Hoodoo and Raven Ridge
I solod up Hoodoo and Raven Ridge amidst perfect larch foliage. Golden larches were everywhere and it was a beautiful, warm october day. Went up Hoodoo first, then ran up Raven Ridge. 6.5 hours round trip from the TH for both peaks.
Heather, Fletcher and I hiked up these peaks. We were snowed on for awhile at Libby Lake. The gully up to Ravens Ridge was steep, loose, and horrible.

1st Bulger of the Year
Though only Class 2 this constant boulder scramble on the ridge to the top tired me out. Thankfully I had Josh Lewis there to help me through on this peak.
