"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Summit Tent City!I as surprised to find, upon hiking up from Cosby and working my way up through the trees of Inadu Knob, to find a dozen tents at the summit! The tents, including a massive cook tent surrounded by bear wire, belonged to the Rocky Top club doing trail maintenance on the AT. A big Thank You to these guys!

From CosbyA long day hike. Started at Cosby, hiked Gabes Mountain Trail to Maddron Bald Trail to Snake Den Ridge to AT. From the AT I headed south then bushwacked to what I sincerely believe to be the actual summit of Inadu Knob. Descended via Snake Den Ridge.

Route Climbed: The Maddron Bald Trail. Date Climbed: 10-11-2004This was a very tough, but rewarding hike. Hit the trail very late (1pm) and made the 16.4 mile round trip in 5 & 1/2 hours. Lots to see, and I wish I'd had more time to enjoy it all.
