Nice climb in neat area
Hiked while on Pct. Neat area. The mountain is limestone not marble but does have many caves on it.

One of my first
Climbed Black Marble Mountain as a kid. It was a fantastic experience, with lady bugs that were swarming the top. It was quite snowy then, but still not a problem to reach the top.

What a nice area. Neat looking mountain with all the marble. Trail was full of horse crap!
Spent a few days in the Marbles and did this as a day hike from the Sky High Lakes basin. Nice and sunny with great views. Nice sunburn from light colored marble. Thanks for the cool page.

Great Days...Climbed the rim a few times. Have come up from Marble Valley as well as from the Sky High Lakes and PCT.
