Route Climbed: North Route - Summit Traverse - Andrews Ridge Date Climbed: July 17, 2005, September 10, 2005
This was a great day. The weather was warm but the wind kept us cool during most of the hike. There was still quite a bit of snow on the ridge but nothing that impeded our progress. The scrambling involved in the traverse of the three summits was very fun. The rock wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Route Climbed: Cedar Ridge Date Climbed: April 16th, 2005
Fun climb. Beatiful weather and good snow until about 11am - it is definitely spring snowclimbing season!
While the massif ridgeline was really fun, Cedar Ridge was a pain. It was nice to revisit the site of my cornice accident - it was strangely therapeutic.
Route Climbed: Nebo Loop/ North ridge Date Climbed: September 7, 2003
I had read a description of the northern ridge route from Gerry Roach, so with a map in hand, I made the easy hike up to the northernmost summit of Mt. Nebo. The trail goes through a shaded forest for a bit before skirting the west slopes of North Peak (not Mt. Nebo) on the way to Wolf Pass. At Wolf Pass, it acends a subpeak and skirts to the West a little more. I found some sharp crappy rock near the top where it was better to avoid backtracking on the trail a little instead of trying to grab anything. The register is a very heavy duty steel box that looks like it can resist the inevitable lightning strike. Some spots immediately below the summit on the North side were a little sloppy because of loose rock, but it wasn't much.

This is a butt-kickin' hike! Probably didn't help summiting in the middle of the freakin' summer! Awesome views though and well worth the sweat and burning legs!
Route Climbed: North Route Date Climbed: September 5, 2004
The weather had been nasty until that morning, so the air was very clear and the views were fantastic. Very enjoyable climb, with cool breezes. It was the second of eight consecutive days climbing 5000-foot+ prominence peaks in Utah and Nevada.
Route Climbed: North route Date Climbed: Sept 9, 2004
Had the mountain all to myself on a fine sept day. Saw a badger on the way up, a first for me. The views were outstanding and the north peak is the highest point in Utah county. Elevation gain counting the ups and the downs of both ways is more like 3600 feet.
Route Climbed: North Route - Andrew's Ridge Date Climbed: July 18th, 2004
Climbed all three summits from the north and descended Andrew's ridge. The weather was cool, there were high winds, and we had to watch out for thunderstorms, which hit us just as we finished the hike.
The trail was nice and easy - fairly well maintained. The rock was loose, but the views were excellent! I've gotta come back and do this in the winter!
This is a tough day hike. We saw a bald eagle on the south summit and it floated straight up and out of sight. We did not see another soul on the trail all day. Perfect solitude, great friends and a fantastic mountain.
Route Climbed: Nebo Bench/Wolf Pass for north summit; Andrews Ridge for south summit Date Climbed: 1994 and 1998
Wonderful peak. Climbed north nebo in 1994 via Nebo Bench and routefind up to Wolf Pass, then a trail to the main summit. In 1998 I climbed Andrews Ridge trail to south nebo, a long, steep trail.
