Mount Shasta

The epic panorama of Squaw/Southgate Meadow. The horizon is lined by Sarents Ridge, Shastarama Point, Thumb Rock and the Konwakiton Glacier. The summit of Mount Shasta is just out of view. The creek had a full compliment of icicles but still ran eagerly. This was the last day of the season to hike here. The next day brought the first heavy snow of the winter. Nov2011.
