Mount Shasta

A stunning view of Mount Shasta looking up Ash Creek Canyon. This view is from above Ash Creek Falls. Most of the ice visible from here is the Wintun Glacier. Crevasses and icefalls are clearly visible in the lower section of the glacier, within the canyon proper. A sliver of the Hotoon Snowfield is on the far right. The tiny Watkins Glacier, its bergscherund clearly visible, is the upper most patch of ice on the far left.Notice how much of the bottom of the canyon, including Ash Creek, is still covered in ice.
