4/25/09 - A very memorable day, especially since the route required a descent of Spry Canyon (my first technical canyon). Climbed up the east face and down the north ridge. Many thanks to CP & DB for showing us an awesome time and for being fantastic company!
11/27/14 -Thanksgiving adventure with Dom, AA, Ryan, Jenny, Giles, Julie & Vivian. Left a fixed rope at the first drop in Spry Canyon and jugged back out to exit after bagging the peak.

A few timesA sublime summit.
-1st time with Rick Kent and Mike Cressman (via north ridge & Spry Canyon);
-2nd time with Aron Ralston (up east face; down north ridge & Spry Canyon. We climbed The East Temple the next day;
-3rd time with little DB, Sarah Thompson and Dwight Sunwall from Colorado (up east face; down north ridge & Spry Canyon).
-4/2009: Skipped the peak this time, but made a 4th run through Spry Canyon with Bryan Long and Tom O'Brien, who were freshly returned from Guatemala.
All were great times!
The front cover of my book shows us descending the north ridge of Mount Spry from not far below the summit.
