Very very nice page! It's an awesome peak! I'd like to get out to California sometime. Great job though and good climbing to you!

Great page. Your reference to the trailbuilders having been "on crack" was pretty funny.

I've been making a list of western peaks to climb when I finally get out there (hopefully next year). It has be nontechnical (since I don't know jack about technical climbing), high and imposing, and surrounded by wilderness. This one goes on the list. Thanks for posting it.

Nice job and great pics. The fact that recent summiters used your description successfully is a good test of the accuracy of the page.

Sheep Closures

As a public service to other climbers, I've scanned in the relevant forest service map that shows the sheep closures, since I wasn't able to find this online anywhere. You can find the image here: http://alpine.caltech.edu/SheepClosures.jpg

Please post this on the main page if you think it's useful. It should probably be pointed out that there is 100% no way to get to the top of Williamson legally between July 16 and December 14.

Re: Sheep Closures

Of course- this is definitely useful. Thanks! I'll incorporate this into the page (am planning my own trip in June due to the restrictions!).
