"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

East ridgeA long and somewhat tedious ridge scramble from where you jump off the Whitney trail. I stayed south of the ridge on the return journey and that seemed to be a bit quicker and less combersome. Stellar views of the Whitney area and all the beautiful lakes below.

East RidgeGreat, far-reaching views from the summit, but the route to get there is one of my least favorite so far on the SPS List. Lots of sandy sidehilling and tedious boulder hopping. Ugh.
