This is a great route if you're looking for an alpine style climb in the Northeast. As with any climb on Mt. Washington, be prepared for bad weather. I climbed this on a beautiful August day and within minutes a Northwest Storm, dropped the temperature into the thirties and dumped buckets of rain on us. Because of the Southeastern exposure of the climb, we didn't see the weather come until we were on the third pitch. Fortunately we had rain gear and were able to finish up the climb.
