At only 31 ounces total weight, the Swallow can keep you as warm as other down bags weighing 50% more. High thread count nylon and 750+ fill down make this possible. We omit the side block baffle so that you can redistribute down to match conditions. We don't skimp on details. A plump draft tube, contoured hood, and more room at the hips and knees distinguish the Swallow from other three season bags. One of our most popular bags, it has been setting industry standards for years. The 1.1 ounce ripstop nylon will save about 3 ounces of total weight.

Untitled ReviewThe 20 deg. temperature rating is pretty accurate for me. I've used mine in the open down to about 25 deg F and inside a bivy sack down to about 10 deg F.
I have the PTFE-Lite version which works well for protection against dew, frost, and condensation. The PTFE is probably less desirable for colder temp bags.
The zipper does not extend across the foot of the bag which could make it difficult to use it as a blanket.
Feathered Friends bags are not cheap, but there is no compromise on performance, materials or construction. I've had mine for 4 years and wouldn't think of trading it. When I buy a warmer bag, It'll be another Feathered Friends.
