Nice hike, summit a dud
Hiked from Morris Ranch Road. Conditions were nice, but very windy on the PCT. Found summit easily. The nicer views were along the ridge, and I had a good time. Saw no one.

From PCT
No one would come up here if it wasn't listed as on official peak. No palms, no views, no summit register either. Crossed it off the HPS list and kept hiking as soon as possible. A total disappointment. The views from the Desert Divide made up a little bit.

From PCT
Touched the top in the middle of a backpacking trip from Morris Ranch Rd to Idyllwild along the PCT. Not much of a view from the top, but much of the ridge south of there was a different story!

Cedar Springs Trail
Hiked the day after the first snow of the season. No views from the top but the Cedar Springs trail and Desert Divide are nice.

5 HPS Day
Fourth and last of my peaks along the Desert Divide and definitely the most anti-climatic. Reminded me of some peaks in the Appalachian's I have tackled. NO VIEWS! Scampered back to the PCT and contemplated Cone Peak, but chickened out as I didn't feel like tackling the 500' plus of elevation loss to get there. Ironic thing is I decided to do a bushwhack from hell for my fifth...Lookout Mountain. Read on...

Fingers and Noses!
My goodness this peak doesn't offer much! Thankfully just hiking the PCT on the Desert Divide is a treat and today was stupid cold (high of 36 and windy); my water froze before reaching the summit and I swear I snapped my nose off somewhere. I'm sure Dave can spare me some of his.
Not sure if I took the correct summit trail off the PCT since I was low-crawling and high-jumping trees, bushes and logs. Summit sure was a let-down and there sure wasn't a thing to see but one damn squirrel with x-ray vision drooling over my packed PB&J sandwich.
Check in the block..........
