Awesome scenery!
Followed the route described by Surgent which worked out very well. The last half mile of the road was very rocky and eroded. It was very windy but temperatures were very pleasant for late April. Overall a great hike with awesome scenery and outstanding views in a very remote area.

Rarely visited mountain
Dennis Poulin and I made this our 4th p2k peak in 4 days. This one had some routefinding and plenty of isolation.

Windy brisk March Day
Followed what seems to be the default route through the cliffs up Little Doubtful Canyon. Passages become evident the closer in you get. The worst of the climbing was some steep brushy slopes and short class 3 sections but nothing bad at all. Actually a real nice, remote peak that feels more like New Mexico than Arizona! Trip Report

Peloncillo Mountain
Climbed with Bob Packard and Andy Bates. This
was my first hike with Bob - he was completing
the AZ top 100 prominence list.

Peloncillo Mountain
A small but rugged desert peak located far off the beaten path.
