A fun warmup with cool views. Good small gear to place a couple of pieces. Only one move of 5.7. A buddy of mine took a lady friend of his up this for her first climb, on el cap none the less

YA!
The route was slick.. The droll that kept dropping from my mouth when I looked at the view above exacerbated this dilemma. Great to get on the Cap!

Slick!
Pretty much the business from the get-go. Protection was good enough to make some brave moves on that greasy granite.

First Time on El Cap
My first 5.7 lead in the Valley, and my 3rd overall in the Valley. Fun climb with incredible views of El Cap above.

Good warm up
Good intro to Yosemite climbing. Protection is rock solid... thin pin scars everywhere just eat up nuts and tiny cams. Its solid enough to solo (descend from the cl4), but if you're unaccustomed to slick Yosemite granite, be careful even on lead if this is your first Valley climb. If this feels too easy, try Moby Dick or Sacherer Cracker.

Fun lead !
Climbed with Peter, then he led it. TR'd a 5.10d line just to the right .. I flailed and cursed :)

1st outdoor rock climb
SP user "Bonesaw" guided me and another guy up this route. This was the 1st outdoor rock climb for both us new guys and I thought it was amazing. On the face on El Cap - climbing. Sweet.

First route on El Cap
You've got to start somewhere, right?...This was a fun short pitch. It protects well with nuts only.
