Description

Hello all,

I'm looking for someone to take me up Mt. Rainier for my first time. I just summited Adams for my second time on 7/27 in just under 6.5 hours summiting at 7:48am from Cold Springs Campground via south spur.

I am located in Lynnwood, and can accomodate transportation.

I have enough gear for myself on the mountain but you would need to provide your own gear and preferably have a GPS since I don't have one, I also don't have my own ropes, carabiners, or ice pro but I do have a harness.

I'm looking for someone who has summited Rainier several times and is comfortable and experienced on the mountain.

Thanks for your time.

-Mike

estiennMt Rainier? When?

Hi Mike,
Just saw your note. Soundsw interesting.
I'm not able to "guide" anybody, especially not in the US, as I'm from the old continent.
But I'm planning a trip to US west coast in the first days of september and I'd like to join an expedition to Mount Rainier...
Let me know about your dates, and if something's getting planned.
Cheers

I am looking for a partner for a classic 2 day climb of Rainier. I was thinking of starting from Paradise and spending our first night on the Ingraham Flats. I have a camping reservation at the flats for 4 days. The next day, summit (weather permitting) after an early alpine start & return to Paradise the same day. I am open to other suggestions/routes. I am also willing (and will bring enough supplies) to spend up to 4 days on the flats for a weather window. I just came off a 4 day course on Baker so I am well acclimatized and in great shape. I have all my own equipment and I am willing to cover all expenses + all meals + free new gear giveaway after the climb. You won't be disappointed....
