No one at the bridge ?I remember when I crossed Henrys Fork with
my younger brother in summer 1981.
There was NO bridge at that time. We did a
boulder crossing, and by that time the
waterway had been reduced to a trickle.
Funny how things change so much throughout
the years, season by season.

Re: No one at the bridge ?Wow, I have never seen that stream be a trickle. But, in winter it is sometimes hard to tell where it is because of the snow, and it is difficult to imagine its ever being a raging torrent. I wonder how many people did Kings in 1981 as compared to today?

I don't have the charts, compact discs or
photos to confirm anything, but there was
only three other people on Kings on that particular day.
And in Henrys Fork Basin, there were more
moose than there were people.
But, that's the way we liked it back then!
