"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

South Face + TraverseDid this as a Rocky Mountaineer's trip. Two of us ascended the south face, then scrambled along ridge to summit. Then headed west and climbed Flinsch Peak- meeting another member. Completed the day by hiking up to Mt. Helen and viewing Upper Two Med,, before taking trail back to camp. Ran into Pat Caffrey and son climbing Flinsch as I descended. left a can of Pepper spray on ridge heading up Mt. Helen. Great loop!

South FaceWonderful mountain that brings home one of the GNP Climbing Commandments: "There are many reasons we climb. One of the reasons we climb in Glacier is for the VIEW!" That's in stone, too, although the tablets seem to have been misplaced.... (Doesn't matter; anyway, it's true.)
Did the peak with Aaron & Ellen, and other members of the Glacier Mountaineering Society, not to mention some almost debilitating blisters. Even through the blistersa GREAT day!
