Seeking for Silver
Dennis Poulin and I had wanted to do Shingle Peak but when we got to the trailhead for that one, we found a foot of snow and realized that we were going to have to come back another time. We looked south and hoped that Silver Peak might be snow free since it was almost two thousand feet lower and it turned out to be a great choice.
I really enjoyed this mountain, it was one that had enough to make it fun and the views for the most part were neat. Very isolated peak in the middle of nowhere but great to see another part of rural Nevada.
