Soloed
About 11.5 hours round trip from a camp in the Williamson Bowl (and I am slow). Descending to the start via the Williamson Creek drainage was enjoyable; looked like it was not often visited. The highlight for me was the traverse around the "prominent tower" -- I climbed up the tower itself since I wasn't sure if that was the West Horn or not and had to downclimb it and then scramble up the West Horn :)

Long and twisting approach
Once getting on the route, I found the climbing to be enjoyable. The lower section was very mellow ridge hiking, but we managed to find some 5.8 or so climbing by religiously staying on the ridge. It was a long haul from the West horn to the summit with some fun terrain gaining the plateau.

LTR Overrated?
Could I have been over-expectant on the Long Twisting Rib as a ridge route? Maybe. But it just didn't have too many highlights IMO. check in the box. Williamson is now the new owner of a digital camera. Enjoy! Like Deb said, the downclimb off the West Horn was the only highlight for me.

Too Ill to Get a Thrill
Dave and I palmed our way up this route on a beautifully perfect day despite him loosing his camera and me being nauseous. Down climbing the Horn was the highlight of the climb. ? Feel pretty good about the accomplishment but I don't think it rates all the hype. Williamson Bowl is a beauty!
