Wood Lily (Lilium philadelphicum)

Wood lily grows in a variety of habitats ranging from moist forest to alkaline meadows and shrublands. It ranges from the east slope of the Rocky Mountains from British Columbia to New Mexico and east to parts of the noreast U.S. and adjacent Canada. Photo from Kootenai National Park, Canada. July 1997
