WowVery unique view! Thanks for sharing. The thick steam cloud behind the spring is the crater of Excelsior Geyser which in 1890, erupted 300 ft high and 300 ft across!

Re: WowThanks for the comment - Excelsior is actually one of my favorite geysers/springs at Yellowstone - every time I go by, I always try imagining what that eruption must have looked like. Incredible.
