"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Great ClimbClimbed with Greg, John, and Tom. Left the inlet campground at 6;10 AM. Reach the base of couloir after 1:15. We went under the chockstone to pass this section. Roped up to pass this. Summited around 11:30. Weather was great. Snow in the couloir was soft. Came down the backside and stuck as close to the cliff wall as possible. Made it back to catch the 3 pm boat.

Abandoned RopeWe found a rope dangling over the chockstone portion of this route that someone obviously rapped off of. It was anchored into the rock with a a nut and a tri-cam and equalized. The snow was in great shape.
