"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

New Years EveFirst summit after being injured...it felt good to have some elevation again! Not a bad day considering it was the middle of winter.

Good first oneThis was a good day. It is a steady climb and 700+ meters gain. A good eastern Rocky Mountain to get a jump on the hiking year with for an early start.
(For me anyway) A good climb to shed ones winter skin and get those muscles back in forward gear.
