"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Fun scramble with many puzzlesSolo. DPS route A in gully. Gusty wind. It threatened rain but didn't. Fun summit block. I would have spent more time on the summit without the wind. Amazing views from the high point.

NW drawSt Patrick's Day treat, following Zdon's route with extra beta from MoapaPk and Gimpilator. Map and compass did come in handy. Summit rocks are class 3 from this side. Route is mostly class 2/3. Saw two bighorns, a massive chuckwalla and a massive iguana.

2nd AscentDrove out from Las Vegas in the morning, so didn't start hiking up the mountain until after ten o'clock. Came down in the dark. #54 on my second DPS list finish. Went on to JTNP for Eagle and Pinto.

One Tough Little PeakAscended the West Draw route with Heather. We climbed Aqua and Spectre the previous day. Almost stepped on a rattlesnake on the hike out.
