Steeple Rock in mid spring 65 degrees
Free solo scramble up the southeast face, mostly Class 3-4, with some small sections that might be Class 5.2 at the most difficult. Took me 57 minutes, return trip back down the north face involved sliding in snow and bushwhacking, ~1 hour and 40 minutes to the road.

Extra peak
After ascending Mt. Angeles I headed over to Steeple Rock. Climbed a ways up the north ridge, then traversed to the east side and went up the rocks to the top. It took 30 minutes from car to summit.

Thwarted by ice
Started at 10:00 AM. Due to the temperature inversion, the temps got up near 60. It had dropped well below freezing the previous night. The NW side was too icy to climb without protection and I had not brought any gear. Hopefully I will have better weather next time.
Over the years I have climbed Steeple Peak with my Father-in-Law and husband, up the East Ridge, North Side, Voile Normale, Direct Finish and other creative options. We have climbed in all seasons.
