Lucky!!!!

One big disappointment when I was on Denali that summer was I never saw or heard a single avalanche or serac fall, which was a big let down since I saw plenty my last time to the Alaska Range. Way to capture the moment - plus you can see the lower West Rib in the background :-)

That's odd; they seemed to happen all the time here and on the slopes of Foraker above the airstrip. I guess we hit it just right.
