BASE

BASE Jumping consists of leaping off any fixed point with a parachute. BASE is an acronym for Building, Antenna, Span (as in bridges), Earth (such as Big Walls). Sometimes climbers use BASE Jumping as a quick and speedy descent from the summit or the top of a cliff that is high enough. Famous jumps spots include the Eiger, the Trango Towers, Kjerag, El Capitan, and hotels on the Las Vegas strip (the last two being illegal).

Hi,

I´ve found a video about extreme base jumping. It is crazy how close are those jumpers to the cliffs.
