Beware of Cows

You thought I was kidding about the cows didn't you? This black beast was the herd lord and kept his eyes on me. He moved as I moved and nearly charged me. He and three others also marched right at me for about 50 feet before snorting and gesturing to leave. Horns or no horns, ice axe or no ice axe, I didn't like my odds based on the weight differential. Call the ranger station before you go to know if the cows are on the run or not. These cows were surprisingly agile beasts, as I found them pretty high up the hillsides while climbing Cathedral. You wouldn't expect it of them.
