Central Groove at The Dewerstone
Greetings and salutations SummitPosters
During the recent good weather in June, my partners in crime (Bobby, Pom and Lucy Quickdraws) and I had a delightful day out at one of Dartmoor's finest venues, namely The Dewerstone in South West Devon. Set in the magical ancient wooded valley of Shaugh Prior by the babbling River Plym, it is home to numerous gorgeous granite climbs throughout the grades. One of the crag classics is the majestic "Central Groove", which is indubitably one the best climbs of it's grade in the UK and routes do not come much better at Hard Severe.
Anyway the entertainment was duly recorded so for anyone interested in viewing a short HD film of this superb route then please use the following link:
If you wish to sample the full High Def experience and your computer has enough va va voom, you should be able to change the "Quality" icon to at least 720p HD in the bottom right hand corner on the You Tube screen. Anyway all constructive feedback or comments welcome and hopefully it will inspire a few folks to visit this beautiful and tranquil part of the UK and seek out Central Groove and the other delights on offer!
Cheers and happy climbing! :-)
Dave
