Climb to the Shachmirk Pass (4560m)
The pass is located between Shimshal Village and the Shimshal Pamir. I took the photo approximately half way to the pass on the Eastern side. The view is South-Westerly along the Pamir-e-Tang Valley with Shimshal Whitehorn in the distance. These peaks belong to the South Ghuzherav Mountains which are located in the Northern aspect of the Karakoram. I took this photo during June 2005.
