Enjoyed reading this!Funny how those "last of the summer" outings can be so special! Last October several of us climbed North Trapper Peak (Bitterroots, MT) on an uncalled-for beautiful mid-October day, and winter slammed the door shut in a big way the very next day--but our "last climb" was just about perfect! I've remembered that climb all winter, and it seems you've done the same. Good job on the climb, and good job writing about it!
