Globemallow

It's a globemallow, but I couldn't tell you which particular variety of globemallow it is. I have some in my yard and they thrive with neglect and need no supplemental watering.

Central Arizona is famous for Globemallow.

The city of Globe, located east of Apache
Junction, was named after this flower.

We also have plenty of cactus and rattlers.

Interesting Larry. One of these days I'd like to get me a good photo of one of those rattlers too.
