Ended up camping at the end of the 4x4 road on the ridge just NE of this summit (superb campsite!), and learned of this summit after looking at the map. Bagged it first thing in the morning, 12 minutes roundtrip from the car. Smokey views.

Monitor Pass Peaks
Spent a half day tagging several area peaks, the cairn on top of Dome 2 can be seen from miles away!
