Snowy Sunset
Thanks, panhandletrails, for bringing this peak and the beautiful Interstate State Park to my attention. Made a special trip here on the way to Minnesota's North Shore to check it out. While the ranger said they do not maintain the short trail to this peak in the winter, there was a beaten path to the snowy summit. Went up at the end of an overcast day and was treated to a killer sunset.

A fun hike up Eagle Peak, then on to other trails. Great to be back in the forest!
