Looks like they hadbeen polished by a glacier many moons ago?

Re: Looks like they hadThanks for the comment. No, I rather think the smooth polish was given by the water, glaciers would have left streaks. This is limestone, and therefore partly soluble in CO2-containing water - a process that removes CO2 from the air!
