Nice stuff walk via Florida Canyon
I enjoyed this jaunt solo. It’s a solid elevation gain to the saddle then a stroll along a social / peak hunters trail to the top. I’d wanted to do this one for a while, and really enjoyed the solitude. A couple of new retirees RV camping at the TH sat me in a chair and poured me some wine and food conversation when I was through hiking.

Group hike from the Florida Canyon Trail #145
A lot of burn in the higher slopes took away from the forest feel. Most of us hiked 88 Mac first and then went to Florida Peak.
