Hey Greg, nice trip report. I flew my airplane up to Alaska in the summer of 2006, and I can relate to the looks you get from the local pilots flying around in a low-wing (Piper Arrow). We flew an inland route because I didn't want to be over water for that long. Northern BC was the most remote part of the route, more remote than a lot of Alaska. We flew into Bettles, and chartered a float plane from there. Any nicks on the prop from those gravel strips?
