"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

2 day, 4 peak slam.Started out at De Roux campground, made our way up Hawkins in a whiteout, then descended down to Gallagher Head Lake. Day two we tagged Fortune, Ingalls, and Not Hinkhouse. Lots of rime ice high up, great to get up there before the summer crowds!

Hawkins, Fortune, Ingalls, N HinkhouseFortune is a nice peak. We came from Gallagher Head Lake and then came up the west ridge and traversed over to South Ingalls and Not Hinkhouse Peak afterward.
