Garmin Watch Strap repair 1

After returning from holiday and unpacking my kit, I found that one side of my watch strap had fallen off. After many attemps at fixing it back without success, I resorted to a powerfull glue. However after exposure to rain and sweat, the adhesion failed. After a web search I found that this is a common problem due to the inferior design so I decided to do my own repair and eliminate the need to keep replacing straps. I'm preparing an article to help others if they have the same problem.
