Went up the summit on a clear but very cold and very windy day from the Hafelekar Bergstation. Splendid view, but I couldn't stay more than ten minutes up on the summit! ;-)

Awesome views
Took the nice easy stroll along the path from the upper cable car station in unseasonably warm temperatures to enjoy the incredible views of the Inn River Valley and the Tyrolean capital city of Innsbruck. What a great place to get stuck and enjoy some Stiegl's while the cable car was shutdown due to lightning...I really can't imagine just how bad the local economy was to force my ancestors to leave this heavenly place to come work the steel mills of Pittsburgh

Beautiful day in autumn
Enjoyed the splendid autumn view from Hafelekar a lot (and a long time). Unfortunately we were a little to late for the fog in the Inn-valley :(
