"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

December AfternoonDid this late in the afternoon, and had to push a little so I did not lose the sun. Even with the sun, I briefly lost the trail at the waterfall coming back.

great spotI've taken many visitors out to this impressive Ozark landmark. Coupled with a trek into nearby Dug Hollow, or a paddle down the upper Buffalo River, the area offers the complete Ozark experience.

Pretty even during leaf offWe hiked up during a nice winter day (60s, but windy). Even without leaves, this view is breathtaking. We took a good friend and her five year old daughter. It was the five year old's first hike ever. I cannot think of a better place to start. She really loved it.

Beautiful AreaVisited with my wife Julie back in the dating years. It was late October, 2003. Spent a four day weekend in the area and was really impressed. Particularly by the Buffalo River.

A highlight of the Ozarks. One can't go to the Ozarks much before it becomes a moral imperative to make it to the Crag. It certainly is worth the effort.
