Thanks! It doesn't seem like a lot of people get out to these areas, and this type of thing is quite rare, so I really hope I'm not scaring off the few. Since this trip report my dad and I returned to Kolata in 2014 and managed to summit in perfect weather. My dad's finger didn't really heal, it's still there but all of the joints fuzed together so it can't be moved at all. It's also a bit shorter because of some of the lost bone fragments.
