Huge caterpillar!

This sucker was about 6" long! Photographed in Anza Borrego Desert State Park, CA, March 18, 2008 This "little guy" is going to become a White-lined Sphinx Moth, one of the largest flying insects in the desert.

Yeah ...

They also like to "chow down" on the leaves
of tomato plants! But, I shall forgive them.
